  1. I just saw the first show of Chris's new reality show. Seeing him again took me to a time of innocence.
I grew up watching Chris. The Pirate Movie was on HBO about 5 times a day when i was about 10 years old. i watched it over and over one summer, when i should've been outside playing, I know.
I don't know him from Adam, but I tell you what, he is still one of the best looking men out there.
Cheers to Chris and I look forward to watching how the show goes this season.

  2. It was great seeing Christopher after all of these years. He's even more handsome that what he was 30 years ago.
Just a comment or two. I'm sure that it's been difficult for Chris for his career to have not continued like maybe he had hoped. But I think that we we approach 50 (or are there)we wonder just where did all of those years go. All the things that we intended to do just seemed to fade away. Famous or not, it's a very difficult issue.
The very, very best to Chris. I hope he (and the rest of us) find what we are seeking. Keep the faith and the passion that sustained you once before.

  3. I watched the first episode tonight of 'Confessions', and I was thrilled to see you Chris. You are a mere 3 years older than I, so when Blue Lagoon came out, I was only 15 years old, and I was beyond disappointed to be too young to see it (since it was rated R)! Years later I did watch it, and I loved you in it! Ooo... how my young teenage soul wanted so badly to land on a deserted island with you!
What a pleasure to see you now, Chris, after all these years. What I love the most is seeing YOU, not a role that you play. I wish that you would post more pix of yourself today, rather than all of the old photos. You are my generation, and I am your forever fan. I just want to see you how you are today with all of your dashing attributes of being a more mature Chris than we knew in the Lagoon! We're not the giddy girls awaiting skin shots as we may have been in the 80s... so it's nice to see the gentlemanly side... in the nice shirts or suit coats, as simple and genuine as you seem. You have so much charisma, and I am so happy to see you again. I will be watching for you as I'm sure many others will be. Welcome back. It's like seeing a dear friend again.

  4. I rarely, rarely watch tv but tonight landed on Chris's new show. Sat there absolutely all the way thru the whole time (which strange for me b/c I could be the ADHD poster child!) I sure i sound like some aging fan, and was already in love with him from back in his glory days, but believe me I wasn't. I mean, like ever young girl with a pulse i thought he was mega hot, but I was obsessed with Duran Duran back then!!
Its too bad they don't have more screen time on Chris - his interviews and comments are by far the most interesting b/c he's obviously the one with the most brains in there. His compelling presence completely holds your attention. He's easy to cheer for b/c I think he's got a real shot for a comeback!!!

  5. (Adding to my original comment)... Well... ok...maybe the occassional skin shot, at this age, would be nice! LOL

  7. I'm not one to post comments on celebrity websites/fansites, etc......But I just had to "google" my man Chris after watching the first episode. First of all, Chris, I've missed you. My mother's missed you...she still drools at the mouth whenever your name is mentioned. I admire your sincerity and determination, as it takes some guts to step back into the limelight. I wish you nothing but the best and I most definitely look forward to watching your new show.

  8. It was great to see Christopher again after years away from celebrity life. I've missed him. When I found out he was going to be on "Confessions" I couldn't wait to see him. He looks fantastic. Better with age!! After all I was a teenager when he was in Blue Lagoon and now that I'm 40 I'm seeing him from a different place. Handsome, weathered, well spoken...just wonderful to see him again! I wish him all the best

  9. Don't forget to be good to your gay fans. Our obsession plays a big role in your success. You were the hottest kid alive when Blue Lagoon came out and now you're even hotter at 47. I (51) could hate you for that. Hardly seems like you need a comeback from a wonderful life. You don't seem to fit with the rest of the teen idol has been group. Your Christopher Atkins for God sakes! GOD YOU'RE HOT! Did I mention that.

  10. Chris I'm sure you'll get another chance but be smart this time. Take the small part in a good movie, gamble like Travolta did, play a killer or a gay guy nobody whats to see the kid from the Blue Lagoon I promise you. Don't let some Pinheaded producer try to parlay this new exposure and star you in some low budget piece of crap called “Lagoon of Blood" otherwise your only staring role will be “Pool Boy” for the rest of your life. Good luck!

  11. I am rooting for your Chris! Good to see you again!

  12. Chris-Best of luck jumping back into acting. You look terrific, better now than in your teens! I am sure that your acting abilities are undiminished. Please keep going forward and be a role model for 45+'s who are still looking to live out our dreams! Prove that life continues to be about growing, striving, and never giving up!

P.S. Best of luck to the rest of the cast!

  13. Chris please get together with Brook Shields and do the continuation of the Blue Lagoon. Everybody wants to know what happen. Even after 30 years. You look great man.

  14. When "Blue Lagoon II" came out, I thought it was a continuation of the first movie instead a reinactment of the same movie. It would have been nice to see how Richard and Emily handled going back to San Farisco. Blue Lagoon is one of my favorite movies of all time. Christopher, can't wait to see you on the big screen again. Love, Tammy D

  17. Christopher,
What???? Two hands up when asked if you dated any playboy playmates???? My nunlike
virtue tells me you are to say Nine Hail Marys and Ten Our Fathers in confession. And don't forget the Holy Water splash on the way out. I could have taken the news better if you put two hands up in response to having dated female neurosurgeons, just happy that you are alive and that you did not overdose on the fumes of silicone breast implants. Next time, date a woman w/ BRAINS.

  18. Uh....be careful there, anonymous above about datnig women with "brains." Chris wife of 19 years (though they are now divorced) was a Playboy Playmate in Australia!

  19. Christopher,
    Wait a minute............I hear hoofsounds.
Could it be....Pony Express? I think I hear the sound of Pony Express delivering you a package very soon. Now I know what you are thinking, What if this person turns out to be that 900 LB woman that is filmed on TV that needs an ACTUAL whale tower to get her out of bed....Oh my GOD, what if it's her???
I really should set you up on a date with the whale woman to get even with you for dating those two playboy playmates. LYNN

  20. Hi Christopher we wanted to add one more important thing for you to consider since our last post. CHRISTOPHER YOU ARE THE "ORIGINAL" SURVIVOR (Blue Lagoon)and that could be marketed since the 19th Survivor show is coming up. WHAT A GREAT THING TO SEE THE ORIGINAL "SURVIVOR" get maximum exposure on one of these shows. We can see you as a leading man (Robert Redford boyish good looks), on a T.V. series that could be like CSI, comedy, a travel to exotic locations type of show, or be a host to a survivor type of reality show on main t.v. (you can do it all)! Even commercials. What makes you so marketable is that you have such a diverse appeal that we truly believe you will be the last one standing in VH1 Teen Idol reality series. We both (husband and myself around your age)wanted to let you know that for years most of America has wondered what happened to you. You have still retained your boyish good looks and stayed in excellent shape which will help you in this business. When watching the focus group people we have talked to could tell you would be picked for most likely to make it. People respect you not only for being an excellent dad, good person, but and excellent actor. Your open and honest and humble qualities come across watching the program, and you should be able to see mainstream sucess if you will keep putting yourself out there. If that one guy who was a former reality star (on the program you are on now) got this far from just exposure on tv alone, and does NOT come close to having your good looks, talent, and great personality then hands down this should be a launching pad for you. The producers of this show would be very smart to produce either a "Survivor" type movie, or even a "Lost" type show or travel show to showcase you for all those who want you to really make it back into the business and mainstream. You were NOT forgotten by a whole generation, and take this springboard and re-launch a career so we can all see you once again on the big screen and on mainstream and VH1 television. Take care and we hope you get this.

  21. My wife and I are both doctors and we were very happy to hear that you would be back on the air (reality series or not it is great to have you back). My wife just posted a few minutes ago, but I wanted to also so that since you and Brooke Shields have such wonderful chemistry together AFTER this show it would be wonderful to see you two do something together again! It will be 30 years in 2010 since the Blue Lagoon, and even if the two of you are co-hosts on a reality series, mainstream series, or do either a movie or television show together it would be a blessing to all of us who have missed seeing you, and have wondered for years what happened to you. I hope you will post this since I am sending this from my wife's email address, because we both have read about and heard first hand stories about what a wonderful and caring human being you truly are. We both hope that your shining star will once again glow, and over the years you have NOT been forgotten for your excellent acting ability and for being a great human being. We both have many friends who and their children that want you to make it! Best wishes to you Christopher from both myself and my wife.

  22. Hi Christopher,

I just wanted to tell you that I was so very excited when I saw that you where on confessions, I had a very big crush on you when you stared in the blue lagoon, and I still have it. You are just as handsome as ever, I will continue to watch confessions ever week, just to see you. Also, I thought your story about footloose was very infirmational, I never knew that, and I think you showed great courage when you shared it with everyone.

  23. Hi Chris,

It was sure nice to see a familiar face from the 80's on t.v. again. I just happen to flip to VH1 and there you were, and i have to say you look handsome as ever, i can see how those ladies who did the secret screen testings, said that you were the clean cut american guy. Its nice to see all of you making a go of it again in what seems to be a vaery difficult business as show business, but you guys are really handling the pressure well, i can't even imagine the things that you go through everyday, but your handlig it well. I don't know what show business is like i've been in the horse business for over 20 years and that's tough i can't even imagine. But anyways it's so very nice to see you back nd i hope to see you soon up on the big silver screen. i wish you the very best of luck and just know that you have one huge fan here in cold Michigan!!
