Confessions of a Teen Idol - Episode 1

So what were your thoughts on episode 1? Did you think Chris looked like he knew he was being punked at the club or do you think he was as surprised as the rest of the guys? Share your comments on episode 1 here!

  1. I just watched the episode and Chris definitely sensed something was up - he was much more guarded and wary than the others (and he was right). I thought that was a mean trick the show pulled - I walked out of the room when I saw what was coming- I give all the guys credit for not saying f-you right then and leaving. I can see Chris really getting back in the spotlight after this exposure- he has class and charisma and that shows on screen.

  2. Chris, You have always been and still are a tremendous actor. I was definately crushing on you when I was young! I have 9yr. old twin boys that have done a lot of local acting and have an agent that is wanting them to come to L.A. What are some of the pitfalls I should look for as a parent trying to keep them safe mentally and physically? Do you have any advice for young actors today?

  3. I think this guy has a chance, I don’t really know how well he acts but his looks have matured well. I’m not real sure about the hair parted down the middle but the weathering around the eyes and his strong features are reminiscent of a middle aged Robert Redford or Brad Pitt. I’ve only seen one show but he seems to have a calm about him almost as though he recognizes this for what it really is. Forget the sitcom they all seem to desire I see this guy pulling a John Travolta in Pulp Fiction. Hopefully he’s not going to start crying and wining about how he blew it and he would do anything to get it back , that would be disappointing.

  4. Chris I'm sure you'll get another chance but be smart this time. Take the small part in a good movie, gamble like Travolta did, play a killer or a gay guy nobody whats to see the kid from the Blue Lagoon I promise you. Don't let some Pinheaded producer try to parlay this new exposure and star you in some low budget piece of crap called “Lagoon of Blood" otherwise your only staring role will be “Pool Boy” for the rest of your life. Good luck!

  5. I just wanted to tell you that you've got it more than ever. Not
because you're still easy on the eyes, but because you're easy on the
soul - I hope that doesn't sound weird. I'm glad you're doing well.

    Take care
    Carol

I was suprised to see him with that group I only knew one other person in the group and chris as so much more famouse then they were and I was confused I never thought of him as having lost his fame I saw him on suddenly susan once and just assumed he was writng directing and following his dreams. My daughter who is going to be 18 this summer things he is amazing and knows every word to all his songs from the pirate king and I am sure she is not the only girl from her generation that thinks you are an amazing actor and fine looking and good hearted gentleman

  8. I'm so glad that Chris is on this show. I have a feeling he's going to be a calming influence in the house from what I've seen so far. Go for it, Chris. You can accomplish anything. We're all rooting for you!

  9. Chris,

I've always thought you seemed like a pretty cool dude. Just a genuine guy who would be fun to hang out with. Have always been a fan and it's good to see you back in the spotlight. I wish you nothing but the best!

  10. When they introduced Chris and he talked about building pools, I felt they portrayed him and the work in a negative light. I am sure being famous and making lots of money acting is much more fun but there is nothing wrong with hard work and being proud of a job well done.
I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when watching the first episode. I hope they don't continue with what seems to be using Chris and the others to make some ratings and put money in some one else's pocket. I just hope this turns out worthwhile and not another heartache.
Finally I would like to say Chris, I love the Pirate Movie, when anyone asks what my favorite movie is, I always say, well you probably never heard of it but is a 80's musical with Kristy McNichol and Chris Atkins. I even searched for it and bought it on VHS in the late 90's. I even went so far as to buy the record and record it onto a tape and play it in the car. I forgot about it and then found the tape several years later and I played it for my daughter (age 6)she made me play the Pumping/Blowing song over and over.

Finally, I wanted to say thank you for coming back, it brings back some good memories and feelings back from when I was just a girl.

  11. Christopher, I grew up just a couple blocks away from you in Indian Village and remember you rollerblading down main street Rye. I wish you the best -- you still "have it"!!

  12. I thought Chris was as surprised as the other guys but still suspected something was up. I thought it was a cruel thing to do. These guys have already been humbled. They didn't need to be knocked down even more. Chris, I wish you and the other guys as well all the luck on getting your careers back on track. I know you will make it. Your true fans are still here rooting for you. Love, TammyD

  13. Christopher, a Jillion times over my favorite
movie in my lifetime was Seven Pounds. Will
Smith walks on water in his performance of a
man that is so PURE and SWEET and is willing
to be a sacrificial lamb to forfeit his healthy body organs to eradicate the suffering and dying loved ones around him in his direct life. This man is the ultimate
PROVIDER. My 16th birthday I knew I had to be an organ donor on my drivers license because I want to be another Will Smith and
send love to other strangers through my actions. When you stated you made alot of people happy in this lifetime I knew when the camera panned into your eyes, your soul knew that to be a truthful portrayal of your giving nature.Take great care of your body because it houses the most PRECIOUS gift GOD gave you and that is your beautiful soul. I am just a few years younger than yourself, and when you were filming the blue lagoon and I went to see your movie at age 14 I promised myself I would never drink an ounce of alcohol my entire life, never smoke, never touch a drug, and to this day I remain true to my promise because I always wanted to be an organ donor to several people if I were ever killed. It hurts my heart to hear on your show you had to go to rehab because you did not have me in your life to keep you in Virginal healthy body organ bootcamp. I hope we meet someday so I can transform you into loving yourself half as much as Will Smith loved his soul and knew that the only thing that is not fleeting in this world is love. Barry Gibb once said that nothing lasts. He was partially right.LOVE LASTS.

  15. Most of America since 1980 has wondered what happened to you. You have a great opportunity to get back into the spotlight. You have the humility boyish good looks like Robert Redford, and have taken good care of yourself making you more marketable. Any sun damage done can be fixed easily with laser resurfacing and some minor cosmetic procedures (since Hollywood is very image conscience. People wondered what happened to you because by all accounts you had and can still have star qualities. Regardless who wins this competition Chris (which you are favored to) continue to pursue this and don't let drugs, booze or fame get to you this time. We are all hoping you will take this all the way and never look back. PS: You can tell you are a great father also! :o)
